Common Questions

Your session fee is due at the time of booking. Payment is made online when you schedule your appointment — it’s quick and secure.

Your session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer, professional retouching of your yearbook images, and submission to the yearbook company on your behalf. We also provide all mandatory attire required by your school — cap & gown, tuxedo, white undershirt, and black drape.

It depends on how many looks you want. Traditional gives you one extra outfit beyond your yearbook pose. Timeless gives you two. Deluxe gives you three, plus extra time for special poses or pets. Most students go with Timeless.

We professionally retouch all yearbook images at no extra charge — blemish removal, color correction, and exposure adjustments so your yearbook photo looks its best.

Yes! Pets are welcome during Deluxe sessions, which include extra time for pet poses. Just make sure your pet is comfortable in a studio environment. We recommend bringing someone to help wrangle them between shots.

Deadlines vary by school and are typically set by your yearbook advisor. Find your school to see your specific deadline — don’t wait until the last minute.

Want to shoot somewhere else? Choose your own location for a $50 fee. Must be non-residential; any required permits must be obtained in advance.

Why weekdays only?

We shoot on weekdays to avoid the higher chance of strangers appearing in the background of your photos.

How are time slots determined?

Time slots are set 1.5 hours before sunset for the best golden hour lighting. Winter sessions start earlier; spring sessions run later as days get longer.

How many outfit changes?

We recommend sticking to one outfit. Outdoor locations may lack privacy for changing, and outfit changes reduce shooting time during the one-hour session.
