All outdoor sessions are shot during golden hour — approximately 1.5 hours before sunset — for the best natural lighting. Sessions are one hour long, weekdays only, at one of our curated locations across Southern California. We recommend sticking to one outfit to make the most of your time.

You can also choose your own location for $50, but it must be non-residential, approved by our regional manager, and any required fees/permits must be paid/obtained in advance.
If you've already booked your in-studio session, you can add an outdoor session for $150, in addition to the fee for your Traditional or Deluxe Sitting. If you've already paid for a custom or deluxe outdoor senior session, please wait for an email with further details.

No, we shoot on weekdays only to avoid the higher chance of strangers appearing in the background of your photos.
The session is one hour, so we recommend sticking to one outfit. Outdoor locations may lack privacy for changing, and outfit changes will reduce shooting time.
Time slots are predetermined based on the season, starting 1.5 hours before sunset for the best lighting. Winter sessions are earlier due to shorter days, while spring sessions are later as days get longer.

You’ll receive a confirmation email when you book. On the appointment day, the photographer will contact you to confirm where to meet and discuss rescheduling if needed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather.
